The Faculty of Health Studies was established on 1st August 2016. It developed from the Institute of Health Studies which was founded at the Technical University of Liberec (TUL) on 1st December 2004. It originated from the interest of the TUL to accredit a full-time three-year Bachelor study programme Nursing.
We provide education in the Bachelor study programmes Nursing, Biomedical Technology, Paramedic, and Radiology Assistance, and also at follow-up Master study programme Biomedical Engineering.
The study is open for all applicants who have successfully finished secondary education, completed by a school-leaving exam, and have passed the admission procedure. We do not offer any study programmes in English. For study in the Czech study programmes, at least B2 level of Czech is required.
