Long-term hostile and humiliating behaviour. Occurs repeatedly and regularly (for example, once a week) and over a period of time (approximately 6 months). It can also take place online (cyberbullying). It is directed against a specific person or group of people. Seriously disrupts workplace relationships and performance.
Examples:
- Teasing.
- Insults.
- Spreading rumours.
- Refusal to cooperate.
- Making work tasks unpleasant.
- Physical or verbal abuse.
- Repeated criticism in front of other employees.
- Ignoring the person or partially excluding him/her from the work team.
